pink lady

Pink Coat via She Inside (FYI this online shop always takes a while to ship to me unsure if it's the same for everyone) | White button tunic via Loft (also available in store runs big) | light blue jeans via Gap | Nude/tan pumps via Nordstrom

I hope you all had a great weekend! We took advantage of the last day of vacation for B and went up to visit family and it was exactly what we needed. The boys were so tuckered out by the time we got back and Gabriel couldn't stop talking about "gramma, grampa.' Also, the weather couldn't have been better! I know WI is just teasing us with the Spring weather but it was so nice to be able to have that warmth. So crazy that we're probably getting snow soon!

Since sharing that we're expecting again I've wanted to share looks that can be transitional for during and after pregnancy. It's become more important for me to find clothing that can work for every stage. You may have noticed that aside from my jeans the items that I wear are non-maternity. The awesome part about most styles out right now is that they are flowy and roomy! Which is great for when my bump is growing and also postpartum when I know I will be in between sizes. I also make an effort to find items that are nursing friendly even though C isn't nursing anymore but I will hopefully be nursing his little sis!

Which leads me to today's post! I've wanted a pink jacket for quite some time and I found this She Inside (they restock often!) while browsing online for pinks coats. It's lighter for Spring and although it doesn't fully close now around my bump I know that it will postpartum. I love how a cute jacket can bring some structure to an outfit during and after pregnancy. I wore it with this white tunic and these jeans (that run a little big) but are comfortable for being jeans haha!

Wishing you all an amazing week ahead! Are you guys loving or leaving the pink/blush trend?

vegan leather preggo leggings!

Vegan leather leggings via Preggo Leggings c/o use CODE MIM-PL-20 for 20% off! | Brown Mock-neck sweater via She Inside | Leopard Print Pumps via Target on SALE now | Hat via Target

It's Friday and I hope it's off to a great start for you! We are back in MKE and feeling both refreshed and tired haha! I still need to unpack everything and there may or may not be a mountain of laundry in the middle of our living room and  trails of crackers from the treats leftover from our road trip. Needless to say I'll have lots to do this weekend!

During our trip we had so much fun exploring Green Lake and the surrounding areas. I wore this outfit for one of our date nights and it was such a fun look to wear! I love how fun these Preggo Leggings  (use code MIM-PL-20 for 20% off!) are. I paired them with these cute leopard print pumps that as I shared on Instagram this combo had me feeling all sorts of meow hehe! I love when a little pop of pattern can make all the difference in an outfit.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and please send lots of happy cleaning vibes my way!

comfy for travel

Striped grey and white top via Loft | black maternity leggings via Blanqi | Kicks via Nike | Brewers cap via Target

I hope your week has been wonderful so far and hola from the quiet little town of Green Lake, Wisconsin! We've been enjoying our family getaway and it's been so nice being outside of the bustle of MKE and having time together. The boys have been such good little travelers and they're really having a good time which makes both B and I so happy to see! It's so fun seeing them light up for all the little activities we aren't usually able to do together as a family because of B's schedule. The two of us are also feeling really relaxed too which has been much needed!

We decided on staying localish after going back and forth about traveling somewhere warmer by plane. But our limited timeframe we have (plus this bump situation and travel let me tell you I'm getting bumpalicious!) made this the better choice and I'm so glad that we decided to stay in good old Wisco! Not only has it been such a great pick but it hit every aspect we wanted. I'll be sharing pics and more details of where we're staying in another post!

I wanted to share my travel outfit after I received a few questions about my Blanqi leggings & what I wore on the way here. You've probably already read how much I rave about Blanqi products haha! But truly they are so comfy and an easy choice for me when I travel. I wore them with this super soft non-maternity top and my kicks that I've been wearing a lot lately too! And you can use this link to get 20% off a pair with code "BLANQIFRIEND !"

Do you guys have any fave items to wear when traveling?!

love day in red

Red- knit maternity turtleneck (on sale now!) via Gap | Faux-leather moto jacket via Forever 21 |  Grey-wash maternity jeggings (these are so comfy!) via Target | black bootie wedges via White Mountain Shoes

On Valentine's Day this past Sunday B and I were able to get away for a morning and have a day date (we had our camera tag along too) ! It was so nice to be able to spend time together away from home especially since this month he's been clocking in 80+ a week ( I kid you not) so it was so nice that on his day off we were able to be together like this then come home to the boys and celebrate together as a family. We went to a couple of our favorite local spots and it was such a sweet morning. I wore this super cozy outfit and I'm so glad I had this sweater on because it was so chilly out! I wore it with these comfy jeans and these wedges that you guys may or may not have noticed have been on serious repeat lately. But they're so comfy that they've been my favorite purchase this winter!

I hope you've all had a great week & Happy Friday!

Baby #3: 25 weeks (almost)

So here I am at almost 25 weeks and I haven't had any official updates of this pregnancy on the blog! Between sharing little snippets on Instagram, all things blogging, chasing after the boys and life I haven't had too much time to sit down and think about all of the changes that have been going on in this body of mine! And I always find these posts so fun and helpful as a momma that I figured I'd start updating every so often here too. It's still so wild to me to think that we are having a third little bebe and on top of that...a GIRL!

(at almost 25 weeks she's the size of cauliflower-width & about 2 lbs!)

so how am I feeling...

I'm feeling pretty good physically. I still have that rush of second trimester energy and I'm able to still move around fast enough to run around with the boys. Somehow I've managed to gain less weight with this pregnancy than the boys but honestly I think it's because I'm literally on my feet most the day! They are getting more and more active every day. I keep being told that boys are much more rambunctious and all over the place but I guess we shall see! I always find that it depends on the child individually but I can tell you that these two are non-stop most the time! I've also been so hormonal lately. I keep telling B it's so much more intense this time around. It's probably both baby girl and my powers combined that have me feeling this way ;)

what am I most anxious/worried about...

I was asked on Instagram a few times about what I'm most worried/concerned/anticipating with our third on the way. I've got to tell you that this time around my worries look a lot different. It isn't that somehow I've mastered all things mom because I will tell you I have not! But my worries look very different from three years ago. I guess at this point I know that there will be tougher days ahead. I also know that there will be good days too! I'm not putting too much thoughts on things that I cannot control like being able to sleep, or breastfeeding- you know? Right now we know that we need move to a new home (by May!) and to be completely honest I'm more concerned about that than anything else. I never thought that we'd be moving with me at full-term or who knows maybe with her here already! The house hunt starts in March so if you have a quick sec to send us some positive thoughts/prayers I'll take them!

what I'm most excited about...

You guys we're going to have a girl! And though a boy would have been just as amazing I never thought that we would have girl and it was such a huge surprise. As a woman in this world I have a lot on my heart when it comes to raising a girl in the now that we live in. I wish that there wasn't as much inequality happening right now and that the world looked different for her but it doesn't. I find myself breathing in deeply and praying that I don't project my worries to her. The truth is that raising a girl is so incredibly different than raising a boy. There's a fine line for me because I want her to feel empowered, strong, and equal to her brothers and men around her. That she'll be able to succeed in that same way, in any way she wants to. But I also want to care for that instinct of tenderness, love and nurture that comes naturally to women. And maybe I'm just rambling and not making much sense but baby girl just know I want the very best for you and please know you are already so so loved.

So I guess maybe I have a few more worries right now ;)

For those of you curious my, " baby is the size of- Tee" is from Mothers in Protest c/o and I love how fun and interactive it is! It's perfect for the month-to-month updates. It also reminds me to buy certain produce and eat healthy haha!

winter white & blush

winter white wrap cardigan (it's a bit itchy but I wore a long-sleeved shirt and it helped) via Gap Maternity | Blush blouse (back in stock online!) via Loft | distressed jeans (major sale in store via Gap!)  Nude/Beige Pumps via Nordstrom

I hope you all had an amazing Valentine's Day weekend! It was a really good one for us. B had off and I can't tell you the last time we were able to have an actual date away! It was so nice to have the whole morning to ourselves. We went to a few of our favorite local spots and I'll be sharing what I wore later on this week. For today's post I'm continuing with my blush obsession haha! I adore this blouse and paired it with this winter white wrap cardigan from Gap. I scored these super cute distressed jeans (and some adorable baby girl stuff!) on sale, added some pumps, and voila it was an easy outfit I wore over the weekend when we also had family in town visiting.

I've been thinking of starting bump updates (I'm at 24 plus weeks right now) is that something that you'd like to read?! Wishing you a great rest of your week!

pastel crush

Textured-weave jacket in powdered pink via H & M  (I got it in my regular pre-pregancy size) | Blue Maternity jeans via Old Navy | Nude pumps via Nordstrom | Lipstick is Mac 'Saint Germain'

I hope you've been enjoying your weekend! I don't know if it's because I have major spring fever or what but I am obsessing over pastels! I love how soft and feminine these colors are and they seem to be popping up everywhere. Although this jacket is considered 'powdered pink' I would say that it has more of a light peach tone. I think depending on the look you're going for this would be perfect with pumps (as pictured) or flats. It's a really versatile piece and it was the perfect way to add a little spring in my wardrobe!

Are there any colors you're loving right now?!

Wishing you a great week ahead!
